Continental Wins Top Tire Industry Awards in Hanover, Germany, March 4, 2026 — Continental has once again been named “Tire Manufacturer of the Year” at the Tire Technology Awards for Innovation and Excellence, reaffirming its position as one of the leading names in the global tyre industry.
The independent jury highlighted the company’s new tyre technologies, innovative measuring methods, and ongoing improvements to production processes as setting new benchmarks for the sector. Continental also received the “Environmental Achievement of the Year – Manufacturing” award for reducing water withdrawal per metric ton of product in its tyre production.
The awards were presented by an independent panel of experts during the Tire Technology Expo in Hanover on March 3, and the honours are regarded as among the most respected in the international tyre industry.[
The company has now been voted “Manufacturer of the Year” five times, including last year.
The company also received the “Environmental Achievement of the Year – Manufacturing” award
